A helping hand to the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Andy Owusu has blamed ex-president John Mahama for promoting or supporting gay activities in Ghana knowing very well that Ghanaians frown upon it.

He stated that during the tenure of ex-president Mahama, he gave ‘signals’ he approves of gayism.

He added that our leaders are pace setters and it is believed that the young in our society learn from them.

“It was sad to see how two young ladies openly and shamelessly put their act of lesbianism on video recording and circulate it. An act I find shameful, very awkward and condemnable. An unfortunate situation, I will not fault or blame anybody but ex-president Mahama”. He said.
