Immediately after Micheal Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie who is arguably the most decorated African rapper of all time released his smash hit and massive diss track titled “Advice” to Shatta Wale many Ghanaian celebrities took sides to congratulate Sarkodie for chastising Wale in such a powerful manner.
Almost every single Ghanaian celebrity on social media from actress and actresses to musicians seemingly supported Sarkodie’s song, even Shatta Wale’s darling boy Pope Skinny endorsed the song. Efya, Jasmine Baroudi, Yaa Pono, Joselyn Dumas, Captain Planet etc were all among the celebs who stood behind Sark against Wale.
Comedian DKB felt the public outshow of love for Sarkodie as against Shatta Wale most especially from celebs is not healthy for the industry and it further deepens the already porous entertainment industry. He said celebs should find a way of solving whatever issues is between the two rather than fuelling the beef or at best they should desist from making any public comment or pronouncement about it.
