GIHOC Distilleries, known for being the leading company in the alcoholic distilling industry in Ghana, has once again added to its long list of well-acclaimed products the APET DRY GIN.
In a grand ceremony held at the company’s North Industrial Area premises to Commemorate its 60th anniversary, the company led by the Managing Director, Mr Maxwel Kofi Jumah, unveiled its new product to the general public.
Mr Jumah in his speech said GIHOC Distilleries has maintained its reputation as the finest distilling company in Ghana. According to him, the company, over the years has used the best ingredients from well-renowned distilleries in the world including France, Italy and India.
He stated that GIHOC prides itself as the only distillery in West Africa that has stayed completely away from flavours and other harmful chemicals. This, he said, So when you drink a GIHOC product you know it is made not from Molasses but from either quality grain alcohol or recently, the most expensive fruit alcohol.
“When you drink Herb Afrik, Castle Bridge, Mandingo, Chevalier, Takai, Bucannuer Rum, Sorento Vermouth or Kaizer Schnapps, you know you are drinking from the best concentrates”, Mr Jumah said.
According to him, “It is from this rich and illustrious collection that we are proud to introduce to you the APET DRY GIN. The APET DRY GIN comes from our own Akpeteshie. It is sampled and tested by our very well equipped laboratory, very well trained and experienced quality control scientists to make sure it has not been polluted with any additives or mixtures. It is doubled distilled at our own and the only distillery in West Africa. After passing through several scientific processes, the harmful gases and chemicals including methane gas, have been taken out of the Akpeteshie”.
The programme, hosted by ace radio presenter, Andy Dosty, was well attended by dignitaries and celebrities including Benedicta Gaffah, Bibi Bright, Akwaboah, Flow King Stone, Lydia Forson, and 2ras.
