How Sarkodie the ‘Fearo’ ‘Run Away’ From Shatta Wale At Ashaiman to the World Concert

This particular weekend was a filled one in terms of musical programs happening in the capital. Not just any two by four programs but mega shows headlined by the biggest stars in the country.

In Trade Fair, at the famed Fantasy Dome, the BF Suma Ghana Connect Concert came off with Shatta Wale, Olamide and others the top acts.

All the way across, at the other end of the Greater Accra Region, the Ashaiman Saka Saka Park was the venue for another mega show – Ashaiman to the World – with Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Samini, among others, shaking the place.

Sarkodie and Shatta Wale are currently in a bitter feud and as we know, Shatta takes any chance he gets to fire shots at Sark. Last Friday, on his last media appearance before Saturday’s concert, he once again tore into Sarkodie, who he said was a small boy when he started music and said he would never forgive unless he (Sark) apologizes to him.

Sarkodie had a perfect chance to respond to Shatta Wale during his Ashaiman to the World performance. Whilst on stage, he called on his fans to request a song for him to perform. Not surprisingly, many of them were shouting ‘Advice’, his recent diss to Shatta Wale.

For some reason Sark refused to perform the song. He went ahead like nothing had happened and performed his own songs, metaphorically spitting in the face of his fans.

Was Sarkodie ‘afraid’ of Shatta Wale? Or perhaps trying to be a mature person and leave the beef behind? If it was ‘Kanta’ would he not perform it?

Whatever the reason, Sarkodie did not treat the Sark nation who pays his bills well with that attitude.
