Over the past several weeks the system has been over saturated with news about two of Ghana’s biggest artists who are beefing with no end in sight.
Shatta Wale the self proclaimed ‘dancehall king’ and Sarkodie the ‘king of rap’ are the two warriors, with their respective fanbases the foot soldiers in the war.
It all boils back to Shatta Wale, whilst promoting his upcoming album launch, called Sarkodie ‘poor’ and fired some very unprintable words at him.
Sarkodie also decided to hit back with a diss single titled ‘My Advice’.

Since then the two have remained at loggerheads but one Ghanaian artist is calling for peace.
Macho Rapper (also known as the Boricist) has released a new single which he calls ‘Peace Advice’. In the single, the rapper calls for the two to put their differences aside to work for the advancement of Ghana music.
