The wife of Ghanaian Footballer Michael Essien, Akosua Puni, was reported to have sought a divorce from her husband following an alleged cheating of the footballer with Gambian actress Princess Shyngle.

This divorce saga came immediately after Ghana’s Black Star’s Captain Asamoah Gyan filed for a divorce and requested that a DNA test be done to verify the paternity of his children.

It was reported that Gyan’s wife had a husband elsewhere before marrying Gyan and this could mean that the children belongs to the other husband and not Gyan.

It looks like these two footballers have rather been unfaithful and not just mere coincidence.

Rumours had it that Akosua Puni has left her matrimonial home because she could no longer continue with the marriage while her husband busily cheats with Princess Shyngle.
