At the start of this week Ghanacelebrities.com broke two stories to our cherished readers that have since been the talk of the Ghanaian social and traditional media space.
The two issues we broke that have since gone viral includes Asamoah Gyan‘s marriage annulment case against his wife Gifty Gyan that was filed at the Accra High Court and subsequently asking a DNA test to be done on all his three children. The second issue was when we also broke the news that ace former Chelsea Football Club player and former Black Stars midfielder Micheal Essien’s former beauty queen and socialite wife Akosua Puni had packed all her belongings from his matrimonial home, her reason being that Essien had cheated on her with Princess Shyngle, a Gambian actress.
We do not have any information about Micheal’s issue with his wife currently but we promise to bring any information we gather about this case to our readers as and when we get it. The latest development about Gyan’s case is that the Black Stars captain’s wife has hired a top Ghanaian law firm Kulendi and Associates to battle it out with Gyan in court. Gifty is really ready to match Asamoah boot for a boot to see to an end of this case.
As we reported last night, Gyan is requesting an annulment of his marriage to Gifty. An annulment would completely strike the marriage from the record, as if it never happened. Gyan obviously does not want to pay even a pesewa to Gifty Gyan as a divorce settlement which is why he is going for the annulment and not a divorce.
