The housemaster of the Kumasi Secondary Technical School, Mr. Samuel Patterson Asamoah is in very hot waters and a mess after he is alleged to have impregnated a form two student of the school.
What is even more disheartening and appalling is the fact that after the girl became pregnant this housemaster also gave the form two girl medicine to abort the pregnancy which has led to a lot of complications on the girl’s life.
A committee has been set up in the school by the headmaster which is supposed to investigate the matter and submit a report in seven days for the school to take a decision on the housemaster.
According to Luv FM’s reporter Erastus Asare Donkor, the Ashanti Regional Director of Education has called on the Ghana Police Service to arrest the senior housemaster. The Regional Director of Education has also ordered his interdiction and immediate removal from the campus of the school.
The girl whose name is not immediately known was rushed to First Care hospital around the school after some of the students informed school authorities about the pain and difficulty the girl was going through after taking the abortion drug. The situation was above the First Care hospital so she was referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where she was operated on and discharged.
