Blame on it on the tattered Ghanaian economy or WHAT? Well, privately owned free to air television station, Metro TV for the obvious reasons has laid off 45 staff.

That’s not even enough because inside sources also have it that even though 45 supporting staff were laid off last week but more could go home either within this week or the following.

This year, in particular, has been bad for some workers in the private sector as layoffs have been rampant ─not forgetting TV3 Network which recently laid of 25 workers including the Station Head of 3FM, Ackah Kwarteng.
