Asamoah Gyan has been labelled as one of the celebrities who allegedly used their mothers for rituals all in the name of fame and wealth.
When news of the death of Asamoah Gyan’s mother went viral, a lot of people accused him of killing his the old lady for rituals although they had no facts to back their claims.
As a way of celebrating his mother’s six years anniversary, he posted on his Instagram page that a lot of people have accused him of killing her, Mrs Cecelia Gyan which he says is untrue. He also stated that people have taken advantage of him ever since his mother departed to the land of no return.
Although rumours had it that Gyan killed his mother, one can clearly read between the lines that his mother was so dear to him.
His mother, Mrs Cecelia Gyan died on 6th November 2012 and reports indicate that, before she died, her wish was that he (Asamoah Gyan) would never play the penalties in for the Black Stars after he failed to score a penalty in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
