President Nana Akufo-Addo has gotten a new name for himself after gaining power. He is now called ‘King Promise’ due to his inability to bring whatever he promises into existence. He promised Ghanaians a Heaven flowing with milk and honey but Ghanaians are been burnt by a fire that is emanating from the Abyss of Hell.
The ‘King of promises’ only increase fuel prices anytime he gets misunderstanding with his wife. Almost every day, people fight in commercial cars over an increase in transport fares.
A member of Parliament, Ras Mubarak has stated that he will ride a bicycle to parliament for the president of Ghana to see the intense effect of the increasing cost of fuel in Ghana. He made this statement on his Facebook page.
Most of his followers mocked him and asked him to walk instead since walking is a normal thing for Africans.
His post read;
“Doing a 17km bicycle ride to Parliament from tomorrow as a way of highlighting the increasing cost of fuel and harsh economy under the NPP gov’t. Life is tough for ordinary Ghanaians”.
