Life is a very fragile entity – which is the best reason for why we should all endeavour to enjoy each day to the fullest, because you can never know what’s around the corner.
It wasn’t that long ago that Anokye Supremo, formerly known as Daddy Lumba Jr., was making headlines due to a threat of being sued by Daddy Lumba for using his name and likeness to promote his career.
He heeded to the threat and changed his name so he can continue to have a long and healthy career.
Yet just a few months down the line he’s been struck by an ailment which has made him blind in one eye and left him needing some money to rectify.
Anokye told Citinewsroom that he had experienced a severe headache which he thought was a migraine, but upon going to the hospital, he was told it was a tumour.
“It started in October and I thought it was migraine. I went to the hospital and was told I had a tumour in my head which has caused an enlargement in my left eye,” he said.
The tumour has compromised his vision, Anokye revealed.
“I can’t see with my left eye. It is gradually bulging out of the eye socket. I am really suffering. For about 3 weeks now, I have been indoors.”
Anokye added that he’s been told he needs Ghc 10,000 for surgery to remove the tumour.
