Wearing makeup and ‘slaying’ in your wardrobe does not give a lady the ability to keep a man, says gospel musician Anita Afriyie.
Sister Derby’s ‘amanehunu’ has brought this topic to the limelight once again, following early claims that she lost Medikal to Fella due to the latter’s abilities in the kitchen rather than the bedroom.
On the back of that, Gospel musician Anita Afriyie has recorded a video to give out advice to the slay queens out there who only know how to dress to look good but can’t prepare anything if thrown into a kitchen.
In a live video on social media, she said they can grab men with their makeup and their fancy dresses and whatever but when it comes to keeping a man, they would be found wanting.

Her sentiments echo similar ones passed by AkosuaVee, who posted in the wake of the Derby-Medikal breakup that if a man tells a woman he doesn’t care if she can cook or not, he’s not telling the truth and eventually he’s going to leave her for one that can cook.
