Nigerian actor Solomon Akiyesi, who thinks he has satellites all over the 10 Regions of Ghana checking our electric grid, has showered praises on Ghana for enjoying constant electricity supply for the past 8 days.
The actor has been so lucky to have visited Ghana for the first time without being welcomed by “dumsor” in his particular location of lodging.
Speaking during an interview with Selly Galley on Joy Prime’s “Premiers Show”, the Nollywood actor stated that Ghana has done well for constantly running electricity for good 8 days, something he has never seen in Nigeria.
“I want to praise the government first of all…The government that understands the role power has to play in the lives of the economy of the nation, should be praised…I have been here for close to eight days and there has not been a power failure, so it’s been so amazing.”
The actor also expressed happiness over the hospitality which Ghanaians have given to him since he arrived in the country.
“…and two to three days ago, someone ‘barge’ into my room and was like, ‘Ah you can’t be staying in your room like that… come let’s go experience Ghana’,” the actor said.
