There are many cancers slowly killing this country of ours and they’re quite easy to identify. You have our callous and imbecilic political leaders, the apathetic and corrupt citizens and the manipulative religious leaders who take advantage of the gullible, superstitious citizenry.
Each plays their part in the unravelling of the country called Ghana.
When it comes to the religious aspect, one irritating trend which has come up is so-called ‘men of God’ prophesying death for others, particularly popular public figures.
It’s hard to go a few weeks without one of these vultures coming out with one of their prophecies meant to garner them publicity. It was only yesterday that we reported on Eagle Prophet coming out with a similar, vague prophecy claiming a musician would soon be gunned down on stage.

Another of such prophets is Cosmos Walker Affran, who in the past has prophesied death for dancehall king Shatta Wale.
He has come out with a similar prophecy concerning Ebony’s successor at RuffTown, Wendy Shay.
According to Prophet Affran, the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker would die in a car accident herself and needs prayers to avert the disaster.
