The nation was shocked a few weeks ago when filtered out that Kumawood actor Abass Nurudeen ‘Blinkz’ had died.
The news sparked some confusion as some people could not believe Abass’ death but it was eventually confirmed, the beloved actor had been stabbed to death following an altercation in Kumasi.
Abass’ suspected killer has been identified as one Tijani Smalia, and he was arrested by the police in the aftermath of Abass’ death.
On Monday, November 19th he made his first appearance in court in relation to the murder at the Asokore Mampong Municipal Court.
The case was adjourned to December 3rd 2018 and Tijani was remanded into custody until the next trial date.
Blinkz’s death sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian industry and his family, who have been in mourning since over the untimely demise of their son.
