I’ll Reverse My Penalty Miss Against Uruguay In South-Africa If I Had The Power ─ Asamoah Gyan

Ghanaian Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that he is been haunted by his penalty miss against Uruguay during the 2010 World Cup in South-Africa.

Ghanaians, as well as Africans, were hurt by that penalty miss which if was converted could have been a historic moment for Ghana and Africa.

According to the Black Stars striker, the only thing he would have changed about his career if he had the power was that penalty miss in South-Africa.

Asamoah Gyan in an interview with Countryman Songo on Adom TV’s ‘Fire for Fire’ show said;

“If I had the power to change one thing about my carrier, I will undo my penalty miss against Uruguay in South Africa because I am still haunted by that incident and I always feel bad about it”.

Asamoah Gyan who celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday, November 22, 2018, still holds the enviable record for the leading goal scorer as an African player in the World Cup.
