We often say that the only thing constant in life is change and nowhere is it more demonstrated than in Ghanaian politics.
Our political parties change positions on issues constantly, with the only thing deciding where they stand on an issue being whether they are in power or in opposition.
Recently the return of the dreaded ‘dumsor’ epidemic has once again brought this schizophrenia our parties suffer to the core. The NDC are now railing against dumsor with all their energy and the NPP are still in denial, with the energy minister claiming dumsor is not back but people are simply suffering ‘intermittent outages’.
Actor John Dumelo, an NDC darling who once got pissed off at his ‘bestie’ Yvonne Nelson for protesting dumsor during the NDC’s reign, is now quite gleefully mocking the NPP government for the return of dumsor.
Dumelo and his now twitter ‘buddy’ Nana Aba Anamoah had a thread talking about ECG and the current dumsor plaguing the country.
Dumelo at the end took a shot at the energy minister for his recent comments attempting to deny dumsor was back, something we all know he never would have done four years ago during the worst dumsor in Ghanaian history.

But they said it’s not dumsor. It’s intermittent disruption of unstable irregular power supply. Anaa? https://t.co/IRxpRJujNn
