On Saturday, December 15th 2018, the one year anniversary of one of the saddest celebrity deaths to have hit Ghana in recent times – the passing of KABA – was marked by his family, friends and colleagues.
The Multimedia Group journalist Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) passed away on November 18th 2017, a sudden unexpected event that shook the nation.
He was quite young at 37 and left behind a wife and a 7-month-old daughter.
Over the weekend the one year anniversary of his passing was marked. Family members and some Multimedia colleagues visited his grave to remember the passing of the vivacious young journalist.
It was a sad event as some tears flowed at a life cut short too young.
