The draw has been held for the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 with some interesting ties thrown up.
English pair Manchester United and Liverpool, who both finished second in their groups, received a tougher than expected draw for such an early stage, being matched up against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Bayern Munich respectively.
The draw also had other interesting matchups, with Juventus to play Atletico Madrid and champions Real Madrid to take on Ajax Amsterdam.
The Round of 16 games for the Champions League returns in February and March next year. First leg ties would be held on the 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th of February with the return legs on the 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th of March, 2019.
The remaining other 15 clubs would all be jostling to replace current Champions Real Madrid, who have incredibly won the title every year for the past 3 years.
Spectacular. The round of 16 draw 😍
