Ghanaian superstar and A-list musician Micheal Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie is arguably the most popular Ghanaian music export. His works transcend the bothers of Ghana and Africa at large.
Sarkodie and his now rival Shatta Wale were the best of friends until Sarkodie released a song to diss Charles Nii Armah Mensah for disrespecting his brand in the Ghanaian media.
If you will remember prior to the release of Shatta Wale’s album ‘The Reign‘ which peaked number eight on the Billboard chart after its release, he went on a radio tour to promote the album. It was on these radio tour that he disrespected the leader of Sarknation and his once best friend, describing him with unprintable and unpalatable words.
Sarkodie didn’t take it kindly at all so he entered his studio and recorded the most serious diss song ever to have recorded in this country for Wale Today Sarkodie appeared on Day Break Hitz on Hit FM and was asked why he recorded a diss song for Wale. The rapper says he served Wale a piece of advice in a dissing song because he cares about him.
