For many years Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr aka Shatta Wale and Micheal Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie made Ghanaians believe that even beyond music they were best of friends.

So it was quite shocking to everyone when Shatta Wale used every platform he got prior to the release of his ‘Reign Album‘ to disrespect, chastise, and make fun of Sarkodie’s brand and personality.

The King of rap music and the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award winner didn’t take the disrespect kindly and light at all. He entered his studio and did what he knows how to do best. He recorded a hot diss song for Wale and titled it ‘My Advice’. The two musicians have not been cool ever since.

We all thought that Sark and Wale stopped talking after Shatta insulted him and he also replied to him with a diss song. Sarkodie in an interview geared towards promoting his ‘Rapperholic Concert’ has revealed that he and Shatta Wale stopped talking long before he released ‘Advice’. He made this statement on Day Break Hitz on Hitz FM.
