The grand finale of the 2018 Miss Africa Beauty Pageant was held in Nigeria and as Miss Congo who won the contest was about to crowned as Miss Africa 2018, her wig caught fire on the stage.
It took the intervention of security officers and patrons present to quench the fire on the head of 24-year-old Congolese, Miss Dorcas Kasinde.
Miss Nigeria and Miss Zambia placed second and third respectively. Some social media users have funnily attributed the incident to witches and wizards in Nigeria.
