The trials and tribulations of the Menzgold Ghana and Zylofon Media CEO is making one thing clear at least — those loyal to the man because of who he is and those passing through due to cash.
Recently the singer Becca came under severe scrutiny after she took the step of deleting everything on her Instagram page relating to Zylofon Music and its boss, Nana Appiah Mensah.
That act earned her the name ‘Judas of our time’ and one person striving not to be dubbed that is Kumi Guitar.
The highlife star born Nana Yaw Kumi has revealed that no matter what happens to his boss he cannot disown him like others have done, he doesn’t have it in him to be a ‘Judas’.
Asked on 3Fm if he would leave the label, Guitar replied: “Oh no, I can’t leave…for me, I always say I’m Zylofon,”
He said other artists who want to do so are entitled to but he is different from them and has no thoughts about abandoning the label even though times are difficult.
