The diminutive actor Don Little has spoken out about the pain of his formative years after being abandoned completely by his family.
Our society is riddled with many harmful superstitions and customs, most of them stemming from the fear of anything different. In the past babies born as dwarfs could get killed or abandoned and Don Little admits that his parents completely abandoned him.
Speaking in an interview with Agyenkwa Fm, Little said he grew up in a family of seven siblings, six girls and a boy (him). However, whilst all his sisters were of normal height, he was short and never grew past a certain height.
He said one day, his parents just woke up, took him to town and left him there.
They thought he was not worthy to be a member of their family and thus abandoned him.
However, he says he has now patched things up with his family as both his parents and all six siblings have reached out to him since becoming popular.
