The 24-year-old son of Lionel Richie, Miles Richie reportedly was arrested and detained last Saturday at the Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 threatening to explode a bomb (he claimed) he had in his possession after he was not permitted to board the flight.

According to sources of E! the incident happened on Saturday but the identity of Miles was kept hidden until later. The online portal wrote; “On Saturday, January 19, a 24-year-old man accepted a caution for communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow Terminal 5 earlier that morning.”

Reasons, why Miles was not allowed aboard still, remains unknown according to TMZ. The online portal reports that the 24 years old got agitated and punched a security man. He was detained, released and issued a caution afterwards.
