The Director of Security at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in charge of the VVIP wing, Hopeson Adorye who recently married gospel musician, Gifty Osei has allegedly been caught up in a V8 fraud saga.

According to the owner of Carport, Mr Edmund Osei-Boakye, Hopeson Adorye has defaulted in the payment for a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 he purchased on hire in 2017 costing $95,000.

Mr Edmund Osei-Boakye in an interview on Happy FM revealed:

“Hopeson agreed to pay for the car in three monthly instalments which he defaulted and later issued me with two checks which also bounced.”

He added that Mr Hopeson Adorye promised to pay him after President Nana Addo appoints him to hold a public office but has since refused to walk the talk after he was appointed as Director of Security at the Kotoka International Airport, VVIP wing.
