The attention addicted label known as RuffTown Records has confirmed once and for all that they are ready to do almost anything under this sun so long as it can get them trending for even a mere day.
Ghanaians thought Ebony was ‘too much’ but Wendy Shay has even surpassed the ‘Kupe’ singer in just under a year; whether we are talking about her showing her krodoso infested botors, calling journalists dumb out of nowhere and allegedly staging an affair with her boss, all for publicity.
The most despicable of all these was the time they leaked some audios of Wendy Shay being ‘caught’ in bed with Bullet by an ex-girlfriend who angrily attacked her and even said that Bullet used to bang Ebony as well.
RuffTown later released a music video showing that the incident was staged but to this day there are questions about whether it was really staged or the video was released later to cover the whole thing up.
Addressing the controversy surrounding ‘The Boy is Mine’ video, Wendy Shay said Ghanaians should just forget about her having an affair with Bullet because the whole thing was staged.
“You know, there’s a type of way we bring out our music, and as you can see Rufftown Records is actually surrounded with a lot of controversies, this is showbiz and it’s a show and it’s also a business so somethings can be staged,” she said.
Shay added that Ghanaians should move on from that controversy because the whole thing was fake.
