In 2017 Ghanacelebrities.com reported that Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla aka Stonebwoy got married to Dr Louisa, a medically trained dentist. Few months after the wedding Louisa ‘miraculously’ gave birth to a bouncy baby girl. The news of the birth of the baby girl got a lot of people talking on social media, with many people coming to the conclusion that Louisa was pregnant before the wedding took place.
2018 was filled with a lot of celebrity marriages, Africa’s most favourite rapper Sarkodie tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Tracy with whom he has a baby with. Actor and movie producer Eddie Nartey also got married, Ghanaian diva Becca got married to Nigerian artiste manager Tobi. Earlier on John Dumelo had dumped the cousin of his fellow actor James Gardiner and gotten married to Gifty Mawunya, a Ghanaian socialite.
Eddie Nartey and his wife have not given birth yet, it can also be that they have a baby but they have been able to keep the baby off the media. Sarkodie and his baby mama Tracy gave birth to a bouncy baby girl before he walked her down the aisle at a beautiful ceremony. They didn’t have to pretend, get married and give birth a few months after just to prove a point that their baby wasn’t born out of wedlock.
Apart from the two that I have mentioned, there is something synonymous with the rest. They all gave birth to ‘Miraculous Babies’. This means that John Dumelo and Stonebwoy’s wives were pregnant during their marriage ceremony or maybe the children were prematurely born which we sincerely doubt. Becca got married in August and today we announced that she has also given birth about 6 months into her marriage.

If you guys didn’t want to give birth out of wedlock you should have stopped having premarital s*x or at least you should have used protection. Getting pregnant or impregnating someone and marrying her/him does not make you a saint or better than anyone. Having children before marrying does not make you a devil either. So we ask what’s it with Ghanaian celebrities and ‘Miraculous Babies’?
