Many Ghanaian celebrities have waded into the argument or importance of religion over the years and many more continue to share their opinion on this sacred like institution each and every day.
Mzbel has been the most vociferous Ghanaian celebrity who has sought to punch holes in religion specifically Christianity and the whole concept of God. She even claimed the story of Jesus Christ is nothing but a myth.
Recently Nana Tornado also rubbished the importance of religion and the worship of God, claiming that Christians are the most hypocritic people he has ever dealt with. He even said they commit crimes the most and ran back to Church to bribe Jesus to forgive them.
Today a Kumawood actor by name Sylvester Mensah has also waded into this debate. He says he does not see the importance of going to church as a Ghanaian when the church cannot provide you with good health and long life. He says it is just a waste of time to go to church as a Ghanaian.

Popular Kumawood actor Sly has made a shocking statement that Christians in Ghana are just wasting their time. The actor who endorsed the opposition party, NDC prior to the 2016 polls told Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show that Jesus Christ did not descend from heaven to die for Ghanaians but the Israelites so he cannot fathom who most Ghanaians would always rush to churches to give their money to pastors whilst they’re always crying for cash.
