Today is Ebony remembrance day, exactly one year to the date since dancehall sensation Ebony Reigns died in a car accident and shocked the entire nation.
Ebony was only 20 (a week from her 21st birthday), full of life and was at the apex of her very young career, having already conquered the Ghanaian music industry despite being a relative newcomer.
Her death was earth-shattering, not only for her youth but simply for the fact that Ebony was vivacious, full of life and always the life of the party.
Ebony’s exuberance in life made it difficult to think of her as dead but alas, that is life and sometimes it throws difficult situations at us.
Ebony is dead but she would never be forgotten and today is the proof of that. She has completely taken over social media as we all remember her. One photo of the late diva catching our eye is of her and her friend Franky Kuri in a photo, completely looking as happy as anyone can look.
They did not know what was coming for them and thus despite all their happiness in that photo, life threw a very cruel fate at them.
May they both rest in peace.
