‘Staying In Kumasi Is Affecting My Music Career’ — Flowking Stone

Garden City (Kumasi)-based rapper, Flowking Stone has said even though he is one of the best rappers in the Ashanti Region yet he is not being recognised nationwide.

In a recent interview with Showbiz, the rapper, Flowking Stone expressed that artistes who are living their lives far from Accra are being affected because most of the shows are being played in the Capital, Accra.

“Everything is happening in Accra. Apart from all the connections and sponsors here, all the event centres are here in Accra, talk of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), the National Theatre, the Fantasy Dome, the Banquet Hall of the State House just to mention a few.

“I get almost 80 per cent of my shows in Kumasi. I was one of the busiest artistes last year but because I was in Kumasi, hardly did anyone noticed me because all the focus was on Accra,” he said.
