American popular Rhythm and Blues (R&B) superstar, Robert Kelly, popularly known by his stage name, R. Kelly is scheduled to thrill Ghanaians in a major concert this year.
According to information available to BEATWAVES, R. Kelly will be performing side by side with some selected foreign and top Ghanaian musicians.
The purpose of their coming to Ghana is to rekindle the connection between them and their ancestors who were carried away, tortured and forced to work above their strength on foreign lands about 400 years ago.
The organisers have confirmed it already that the program has been “signed and sealed,” that Robert Kelly will be thrilling Ghanaians within this year.
The list of Ghanaian artistes who will be performing with the international artistes have not been announced but the organisers have promised Ghanaians to stay tuned. They will soon hold a press launch where the list and the venue will be announced.
