Ghallywood popular actress, Lydia Forson unleashed her anger on Hitz FM and their Daybreak Hitz Entertainment Show tagging them as a disgrace to journalism after they discussed untrue publications about her.
According to the gathered information, Hitz FM discussed a false publication about Lydia Forson which had it that she was planning to organize a demonstration against the government to abort the construction of the National Cathedral.
“How SHAMEFUL are you as a radio station, to hold a discussion on a publication that’s not only FALSE but one I’ve said repeatedly said isn’t true. You’re all a disgrace to journalism and a BIG part of everything wrong in this country. Shame on you.” Lydia Forson fired her missiles.
A few hours after Lydia Forson lambasted the radio station, they responded with a series of tweets to convey their apologies for failing to verify the authenticity of the story before jumping to discuss it.
“On behalf of the entire #DaybreakHitz team, we are conveying our apologies for the inconvenience which has been caused to you. We are profoundly sorry for this regretful event. We also appreciate that you made us realize the blunder in our communication, Ms. @lydiaforson.
“We apologize profusely for failure to verify the authenticity of the story: “Lydia Forson to organize a We Don’t Need a National Cathedral demonstration” from the subject, @lydiaforson, during its discussion on Showbiz Review on Monday 19th February 2019. 1/2″ Hitz FM apologized.
