In recent years, Kwadee has reportedly had some mental health issues which he thankfully seems to have recovered from now.
Kwadee is back and even holding some media interviews as he fights to reestablish his relevance in the music industry.
Perhaps in a bid to get some buzz created around him, Kwadee has anointed himself as the biggest artist in Ghana, claiming he’s even bigger than Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.
Speaking with showbiz, the veteran rapper said the name he’s made for himself in the industry means if Kwadee is mentioned, more people would know him than the current big names such as Sarkodie.
“None of the artistes I mentioned above have gotten to where I am. I was a nominee for Channel O Awards (2003) and KORA Music Awards (2005) but I didn’t even go for the events.
“Everyone in Ghana knows Kwadee because of the music I did. I cut across both the old and the new, chiefs and prominent people listen to my songs,” he said.
Kwadee added: “Sarkodie winning a BET does not mean he is popular than me. When we do polls between myself and the A-list artistes we have now I still stand tall.”
