Former Black Stars Goalie, Abdul Fatawu Dauda, also known as Fatau Dauda has revealed his interest in coming back to the senior national team, the Black Stars to help fill the loopholes in their goalpost.
He told Daily Guide during an interview that he believes he is on top form to block any ball that will be directed into the team’s goalposts when the chance is given to him to be with Coach Kwesi Appiah and his men.
“I am glad I have regained my fine form, I will attribute it to hard work and dedication, of course, it boils down to teamwork, from the rear, through the midfield to attack, have been wonderful.
“I am looking forward to returning to the Black Stars fold, I consider it as a national assignment anytime I’m called upon. I have worked tirelessly to get to where I am now, and ready to serve my country again,” he said.
The 33 years old goalkeeper has helped Ghana Black Stars on many occasions especially during the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.
Fatau Dauda currently plays his professional football as a goalkeeper for Enyimba international Football Club in the Nigerian Premier League.
