A lucky Thai man could soon find himself with a bride and a fortune after a millionaire in that country pledged to leave all his assets to whoever marries his daughter.

The man advertised his daughter on social media, claiming she’s a virgin and needs a man to make her happy.

58-year-old Arnon Rodthong is a millionaire businessman in Thailand with a 26-year-old unmarried daughter. According to him, any man who is ready to settle down with his daughter would inherit his fortune, and would not even have to pay the customary dowry.

In his post on social media, he revealed his daughter helps him run his business, is a virgin and speaks fluent Chinese and English.

He also added that he’s prepared to give whichever man accepts his offer 10m Thai baht (£240,000), as well as control of his durian farm, which is valued at several million pounds.

“I want someone to take care of my business and make it last. I don’t want a person with a bachelor’s, or master’s or philosopher’s degree.‘I want a diligent man. I just want someone with a hard-working attitude. That’s all,” he said.

“As soon as I have an in-law, I will give up all my assets to him.”

The daughter in question reportedly saw the post on social media and reacted, claiming it was all in ‘good fun’.

“I first found out about my father’s post when my friend’s showed me. I was surprised but I can see the funny side to it, too. It is true that I am still single. If I have to get married with someone, I only want him to be a diligent and good person who loves his family.”
