Veteran radio producer and Instagram DM surfer, Abeiku Aggrey Santana, has announced that he has plans to retire soon from the industry he’s been associated with for a better part of his life.
Abeiku, speaking after a recent award win, said he has a new love he wants to concentrate on and therefore he’s going to ‘dawg’ his first love, radio.
Abeiku received a lifetime achievement award during the Pan-African Republic Honorary Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre over the weekend.
Whilst picking up his honour, Abeiku revealed he’s interested in concentrating on tourism and thus would leave his radio career quite soon.
“…I am sorry to announce that very soon I will be saying bye bye to the media because I have found a new love which is tourism, which is my way of life.” Abeiku said at the event.
Abeiku currently hosts the drive show on the Despite Group radio station, Okay Fm.
