The 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) is just around the corner, and one artist who has targeted an award win no matter what is RuffTown records sensation, Wendy Shay.
Wendy, who’s looking at emulating Ebony Reigns by making her mark in the industry in the shortest possible time, says she’s targeting at least one VGMA award at this year’s upcoming ceremony.
The 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards would be the 20th edition of the ceremony, and an award in the first year she’s eligible for one would cement Wendy Shay as a genuine force in the industry.

Speaking with SVTV Africa, Shay said she has worked hard enough to get the award this year and believes by the end of the VGMA night, she would have at least one award.
“You know, I have worked so much in the year under review, so personally I think I deserve lots of awards at this year’s VGMA and I know I will win an award come what may,”.
The nominees for this year’s event would be announced by organizers Charterhouse on Friday.
