A Nigerian lady who lost two children in the Lagos building collapse has reportedly committed suicide out of grief over the loss of her kids.
The lady in question, according to Sahara Reporters, purchased a bottle of insecticide and drunk it to end her life.
The building collapse, which occurred on Wednesday, hit a school building, leading to the deaths of some school children.
According to, the woman had two children at school that day, aged between four and six, who both perished in the incident.
The woman reportedly delivered both kids via C-section.
Eyewitnesses revealed they saw her purchase the insecticide known as ‘Sniper’ but did not know what it was meant for.
“Nobody knew what she wanted to do with the Sniper. But a few minutes later, we saw the bottle beside her where she was sleeping and we found out that she was already dead,” an eyewitness told the Nigerian news agency.
