In reports circulating on social media, the Founder of the Glorious Word Chapel, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah on Friday, March 15, 2019, stormed the offices of Radio XYZ with armed men to threaten radio presenter, Mugabe Maase.

According to the producer of the radio station, Kofi Oppong Asamoah in an interview with Joy News disclosed that just when they were about to start their flagship show at 10: 00 am their receptionist came through with Reverend Owusu Bempah.

“He came with some bodyguards with him who were armed and they came in asking of Mugabe Maase who is the host of an afternoon politics show.

“We asked him why he was asking for Mr. Maase to which he replied that the radio presenter has made derogatory comments about him on radio on Thursday”, Kofi Oppong Asamoah said.

Reverend Owusu Bempah storming the offices of Radio XYZ comes on the back of Mugabe Maase’s threats that he will sack the man of God from the country according to Kofi Oppong Asamoah.

“He said emphatically that he is going to end the life of Mugabe Maase because he cannot go about saying untruth about him,” Mr Asamoah said.

“Although one of the bodyguards tried to manhandle someone, he was restrained by other people around. No one was hurt and no property was vandalised,” Mr Asamoah added.

According to the management of Radio XYZ, they’ve logged a complaint with the East Legon Police.
