The nominees list for the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was released last week in a ceremony held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra, as the official awards night draws ever closer.
Since its release, the list has engendered numerous controversies as artists who did not make the list and their fans put forward their reservations over being left out.
However, one artist who has decided not to complain but instead congratulate his colleagues who made it is ‘Play’ hitmaker Kofi Kinaata.
The Fante rapper, born Martin King Arthur, has decided not to cry over spilt milk but is rather giving more vim to his fellow Fante artists who managed to garner nominations.
In a post on Instagram, Kinaata gave props to Dope Nation, eShun, Teephlow and other Fante stars who managed to garner nominations.
He wrote: “Congrats to KODA, TeePhlow, Dope Nation, Quamina MP and eShun my Fante Brothers and Sister from Western and Central Regions… wishing you all the best on your 2019 #VGMA nominations. #ProudFantes#TeamMooove.”
