Since her breakup with Medikal and the accompanying brouhaha, Sister Derby has not been able to grant an interview without being asked about what happened in their seemingly blissful relationship.
The story we are all familiar with is that Fella Makafui wormed her way into the relationship with claims of being Medikal’s bestie, then she calmly snatched him away whilst Derby was still daydreaming.
Medikal and Fella tell the story a different way but Sister Derby insists that’s what happened. In an interview with Accra Fm today, she also revealed that she knew even before they broke up that Medikal had been cheating on her.
Derby revealed that’s why she composed the ‘Kakalika Love’ song, which she wrote even before they broke up. She said the song was to tell the world that they had broken up since she informed everyone about it when they started dating. She also confirmed that their relationship ended because of Medikal’s cheating.
