After a lengthy hiatus, one of Ghana’s most talented actors is returning to the screen in a soon to be released movie.
Agya Koo, before he makes his comeback, has been addressing the perceived reasons why his career had a temporary setback because a lot of producers in the industry he helped make popular (Kumawood) were unwilling to work with him.
The complaints about Agya Koo include being difficult to work with and overcharging to appear in movies.
Speaking on those claims, the veteran comic actor said he never charges exorbitant amounts to appear in movies. According to him, the highest amount he’s ever charged for a movie is Ghc 6,000, which if you consider the industry he’s in doesn’t sound like a lot.
Agya Koo is set to appear in the Kofas Movie production ‘Away Bus’, which would mark his grand return to the big screen.
