‘Dancehall king’ Shatta Wale has pledged his undying loyalty to his former boss Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1, CEO of the now defunct Zylofon Music record label.
In a post on Facebook, Shatta Wale says he misses Nana Appiah Mensah and the great impact he had on Ghana music during his time running the label.
Wale was one of the artists signed by Nana Appiah Mensah onto his label, and even though many of those artists have pulled away from NAM 1 since his issues with the SEC emerged (we’re looking at you Becca), Wale continues to praise him and pledge his loyalty to him.
He wrote: “No matter the situation Ghana musicians should remember this man came to change our industry and he did ..Nana Appiah Mensah my Loyalty for you will forever remain here ??… My boss, my CEO .. #NAM1 I really miss your presence !!! #Zylofon,”
