VIDEO: Shatta Wale; The Man Who Said He Doesn’t Need Awards Is Now Happy And Fulfilled For Winning 8 Awards

Controversial Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale who lambasted organisers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Charterhouse after Dancehall Diva Kaaki won “Reggae Dancehall song of the Year” in 2013 is now excited and recording videos on social media to celebrate the 8 awards he won at 2019 3Music Awards.

Shatta Wale in a tweet in 2014, stated clearly that he doesn’t need awards because he is rich with cars and houses ─Shatta Wale even recorded a diss song directed at Charterhouse for not gifting him “Reggae Dancehall song of the Year” in 2013.

Fast-forward to 2019, ahead of the 20th edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale paid a humble visit to the CEO of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade ─apparently, to smoke the peace pipe.

Shatta Wale has also said that he won’t rant and rain insults on Charterhouse even if he wins nothing at 2019 VGMAs and has in several videos stated that awards are good for the industry.

This is the man who said awards are not important to him ─apparently, Shatta Wale has changed his mind and now walking in the path of musicians who take awards seriously.
