Yvonne Nelson Slams Government Over Lack of Streetlights on the Tema Motorway

Actress Yvonne Nelson has continued her reinsertion into overt political activism with yet another jab at the NPP government.

Yvonne this time rants about another big issue in Ghana which for some reason never gets solved, the lack of traffic lights on a road as important at the Tema motorway.

The motorway is one of the most deadly stretches of road in the country yet the minimum which could be done to improve it a little, which is to ensure that it is well lit at night, is not even a priority.

The motorway has been without streetlights for a long time now and successive governments have all failed to do anything about it.

Yvonne, who was complaining about dumsor recently, has taken aim at the streetlight problem as well in another post on her twitter page.

She wrote: “I dont get it!!!! Its dark! Its really really dark on the motorway! Why cant our leaders fix street lights??? This problem has been there for more than 10years! And we use all the money for celebrations! Celebrating what? We arent even independent! 5:07AM.”
