The ‘Nominees Jam’ for the 20th edition of the annual prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, organized by Charterhouse Productions happened in the Garden City of Ghana, Kumasi, on the 6th April 2019 at the forecourt of the iconic Kumasi City Mall.
Over 10,000 music lovers from all the corners of Kumasi trooped into the Kumasi City Mall to come and witness live, great musical performances from their various artists. All the important people who have a stake in Ghana’s Music Industry were also present.
The event was wholly and generally a success as it witnessed absolutely amazing performances from the likes of the Shatta Movement boss, Shatta Wale, the Bhimnation general Stonebwoy, Oseikrom President Flowking Stone, Yaa Pono, Kojo Nkansah Lilwin, Wendy Shay, Obaapa Christy, OV and many others.

Most of us know what happened to Kunta when he was struck down by stroke in 2009 when the duo were at their peak. It is so gratifying to see that Kunta is gradually getting better by the day and is still taking music seriously.
