Ebony’s One year Anniversary Concert was a Waste of Time and Money — Sponsors ‘Kpoo Keke’ Reveal

The one-year anniversary concert for the late Ebony Reigns seems to have been a huge flop financially for sponsors ‘Kpoo Keke’.

According to Afotey Mensah, one of the managers of Liberty Industries Ventures, producers of the popular alcoholic beverage ‘Kpoo Keke’, they have completely regretted agreeing to sponsor the concert and in fact, have plans to retrieve some of their money from the organizing committee.

At the end of last month, a concert to mark Ebony’s passing was held at the West Hills Mall. Following numerous delays the event finally came off on the 29th of March with sponsorship from ‘Kpoo Keke’.

However, Afotey Mensah has revealed in a chat with ZionFelix that the concert was a massive flop and did not match the expectations they envisioned when deciding to sponsor.

According to him, there was very little publicity for the show and they raised such concerns to the planning committee who assured them it would be solved but it wasn’t.

He also said they were initially hesitant to sponsor because of all the issues which emanated from the first concert held by Bullet just after Ebony’s death but the planning committee assured them all of such issues had been solved.

However, in the end it seems none of those issues was addressed and the concert ended up being a huge flop. Adotey said they are exploring their options including getting a refund of their money from the planning committee or initiating a court battle.
