One of the most decorated artists in Ghanaian music, Efya, has given her expert opinion on which artists, if any, she considers as overrated in the Ghanaian music industry.

Efya, born Jane Awindor, is regularly adjudged as the best vocalist in Ghana and therefore is clearly someone who could tell with a degree of accuracy which artists could be considered as overrated and even underrated in the Ghanaian industry.

Efya was asked to name who she thought were the most overrated stars in Gh during a chat with the ‘ABS show’ in New York City.

The singer refused to name any names, instead opining that she believes every singer is rated by some people and not rated by others since everyone has their own opinion.

Asked to name any underrated stars, Efya refused to do that as well. She called on anyone out there who believes an artist to be underrated to lend them their support to establish their career, otherwise they would regret it when that artist blows up one day without them in their corner.

The singer spoke on several other issues with the hosts of the chat show as she revealed more about herself.
